Evelyn is an experienced property lawyer, and has advised clients on a broad range of property-related matters over the course of her career, including significant acquisitions and disposals, leasing, transfers and development matters. In addition to her considerable transaction experience, Evelyn has previously worked as a state manager and head lawyer of a national conveyancing firm, playing a key role in establishing the business as a start-up and managing successful conveyancing practices across three states (Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania).

- Acquisitions & disposals: comprehensive legal management of residential, commercial, industrial, and off the-plan property transactions.
- Development & subdivision: acting for SME developers on developments and subdivisions and Owners Corporation matters.
- Leasing: expertise in commercial, retail, and industrial leasing.
- Strategic property transfers: facilitating complex transfers, including tax-related restructures, change of trustees, NICO transfers, and spousal transfers pursuant to Family Court Orders or will & estate matters.
- Private lending: drafting and managing mortgages and security documentation for private lenders.
Notable projects & career highlights include:
- Portfolio management: Completed the transfer of commercial and office assets across Victoria and South Australia (valued at $62 million) for a major industry superannuation fund.
- Agribusiness: Acted for the vendor in the $42 million sale of a significant regional Victorian agricultural asset.
- M&A due diligence: Completed property-related due diligence for high-profile acquisitions, including Access Hardware’s acquisition of API Access Security and the acquisition of Fulcrum Robotics by Swiss multi-national SGS.
- Dispute resolution: Successfully negotiated the termination of a medical clinic lease following extensive property damage, protecting the tenant from ongoing liability.
- Leasing: Managed the assignment of multiple leases on behalf of Victorian retail food tenant as part of a $3 million business sale, and negotiated a new lease and managed assignment of leases for the acquisition of several childcare centres across Melbourne.
- Property management: Acting for non-for profit organisation in relation to various leasing matters and acquisition and disposals of property assets.
Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Laws and Arts from Monash University, and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria. She is friendly and personable and enjoys building long-term trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
