Jacqueline Wilcock

Jacqueline is an Associate working across our Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Insolvency & Restructuring practice groups. Jacqueline has a commercial focus, and strives to provide strategic solutions to diverse and complex problems. Jacqueline has experience taking instructions from senior insolvency practitioners, company directors, and in-house legal teams.  

As a litigator, Jacqueline has worked on a range of commercial disputes, including shareholder, corporations and contractual disputes. She has also advised insolvency practitioners on all aspects of litigious corporate and personal insolvency matters. Her experience includes: 

  • Assisting liquidators and company directors in litigation of voidable transaction claims, including alleged unreasonable director transactions 
  • Acting for shareholders in oppression proceedings 
  • Advising and acting on matters in relation to Unfair Contract Terms and the Australian Consumer Law 
  • Working as part of cross-disciplinary teams on complex insolvency and restructuring matters 
  • Advising on matters arising from personal and corporate insolvency, including on personal liabilities arising from corporate insolvency, and 
  • Conducting litigation of corporations law matters, including alleged breaches of directors’ duties claims. 

Jacqueline is the Secretary of Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Victoria (WIRV) and is undertaking her Masters of Law at Melbourne University.
